Kegerreis Leads Women's Basketball Team to Win

TAKOMA PARK, MD --Colleen Kegerreis (Schuylkill Haven/Schuylkill Haven) scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Bloomsburg University women's basketball team to a 79-52 win over Columbia Union College on Saturday night.

The Huskies forced 41 turnovers by the home and cruised to the easy win. In addition to Kegerreis in double figures, Kelly Joyce (Ashland/Cardinal Brennan) added 12 points and Giselle Lara (Toronto, Canada) added 10.

Bloomsburg jumped out to an early 6-0 lead and later led 14-4 with less than five minutes gone in the game and were never threatened in the game.

The Huskies improve to 6-2 with the win, while Columbia Union falls to 0-13. The Huskies will play at Lock Haven on Jan. 3rd.
